She also performed a season of summer stock stage on stage at the Berkshire Playhouse in Stockbridge, Massachusetts in such plays as The Pajama Game" and West Side Story. Ann was first discovered while she performed at an event for Vogue's fashion in her group. Diana Vreeland ordered Ann to take part in her first Vogue photo shoot alongside Richard Avedon within one week. Ann was soon one of most coveted models ever, with her covers appearing in top fashion magazines Vogue Bazaar and Cosmopolitan. Ann was a successful model for Europe, Japan and other international markets for 2 months. Ann was the model for giants of cosmetics such as Max Factor Revlon or Chanel.
